Nate Ahir, MPA, BCN
Nate is a graduate of the Avalon University School of Medicine where he was awarded his Medical Doctorate (M.D.).
He completed his Internships as well as his Neurological training from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He has also earned his Master's in Public Administration (M.P.A.) from the Clark University in Worcester, MA.
While being employed at the prestigious Barrow Neurological Institute, Nate led a clinical trial investigating dietary changes with patients diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme. He discovered that implementing a ketogenic diet along with and without current therapeutic regiments has greatly prolonged his patient's life. With a median survival rate of 9 - 15 months, Nate was able to increase his patient's life up to 35 months. It was then he realized that our diets play a more of an important role and can reduce the need for prescription medicine and chemotherapy.
His team integrates a multi-disciplinary approach for each patient. His medical team has seen that with a healthy lifestyle change, patients can reverse chronic diseases and eliminate the need for prescription drugs, which Nate notes, saves our livers and kidneys from having the unnecessary side effects caused by every drug metabolism.
Nate received his Board Certification in Neuropathy (B.C.N.) from the American College of Physical Medicine in 2022. His field of interest is in Peripheral Neuropathy and Gut Health.
Nate resides in Phoenix. He leads an active lifestyle and loves history. As an avid sports fan and is crazy about his alma mater Penn State's football team.

Mark Mercer, DC
Dr. Mercer graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles in Biochemistry and after Cleveland Chiropractic College did his post graduate training at The Carrick Institute of Clinical Neuroscience and Rehabilitation.
His Clinical research at the UCLA Departments of Medicine and Neurology brings a unique multilateral perspective to healing and maximizing treatment protocols. He has served as a Medical Examiner for the State of California and as an Adjunct College Teacher in Clinical Anatomy and Physiology.
He has 25 years of experience treating spinal-related conditions.
Office Manager
Ginger Gardner
Meet Ginger, Regen Spine and Nerve's Office Manager. She has a passion for patient care and a strong set of skills in medical office management. She always strives to be more efficient and knowledgeable in what she does.
When she is not working you will find her spending time with her family, her three children, or working out at the gym. Ginger looks forward to developing a wonderful relationship with all patients that walk through Regen Spine and Nerve's door!

Vila Donovan, L.Ac.
Vila graduated with a master's degree in Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University in Santa Cruz California in the year 2000. Vila has over two decades of experience and specializes in pain management and internal medicine. Personally trained and mentored with Dr Wha Ja Kim. She brings her unique style of gentle acupuncture, a peaceful environment mixed with medical expertise.
